Technology is constantly improving. The need to grow and adapt is a constant requirement in business today. Software requires updates and security standards change. Often, organizations fail to keep pace because of the costs required to implement changes at scale. Security is a critical area where organizations fall behind, opening the door (literally) to ransomware attacks and data leaks.
While designing Connect, we approached these problems differently, by creating a flexible framework that can be easily maintained and extended to avoid the pitfalls that ultimately make enterprise applications obsolete and insecure over time. We built a toolkit with which we can assemble enterprise applications that are nimble, adaptable to new standards and regulations, and effortlessly scale to meet the demands of any size organization.
Connect was designed as a progressive web application, assembled from configurable modules, and is usable on any device with a modern web browser. Features are added by creating new modules, and our library of modules is constantly growing. We provide an application customized to meet your organization’s specific needs.
With push notifications, live messaging, and live status updates powered by WebSockets, everything in Connect is kept in sync across devices. The lifecycles and processes in Connect are collaborative group projects that keep your organization running smoothly.
Most applications use a database in which, once a value changes, no record of its previous state is kept. By using a temporal database, any information added, changed, or removed from Connect is fully auditable.
Our web application is deployed to Amazon’s CloudFront CDN for maximum availability, and we utilize Docker and AWS Fargate to provision, configure, and scale clusters of virtual machines to run API application containers. Our platform automatically scales to meet your workload.
Connect was built as two separate applications, a user interface and a REST API, to maximize versatility. Our API supports AS2, EDI, and Web Hooks, and is able to be integrated with other platforms your organization is already using.
Drag and drop reporting enables our users to build any report from the data in Connect and share the results. Reports can include charts and be exported in Excel and PDF formats, or viewed online.
Between 2018 and 2019, www.hhs.gov reported over 40.8 million dollars in settlement agreements due to a failure to comply with HIPAA regulations. The type of security failures on behalf of healthcare organizations include infractions such as: failure to encrypt mobile devices, loss of patient information, failure to terminate former employees’ access to sensitive information, and protected information shared with an unknown vendor without a business associate agreement.
SentinelC3 designed Connect with the highest levels of security and HIPAA compliance in mind.
